电解板又称电镀锌板，表面形成均匀、致密、结合良好的金属或合金沉积层的过程。与其他金属相比，锌是相对便宜而又易镀覆的一种金属，属低值防蚀电镀层。电解板的钣金折弯系统，精度准确、柔性更强，适合各种高精度钣金加工。

电解板锌目的是为了防止钢铁类物体被腐蚀，提高钢铁的耐蚀性及使用寿命，同时也使产品增加装饰性的外观，钢铁随着时间的增长会被风化，水或泥土腐蚀。国内每年被腐蚀的钢铁都相对较多，所以，电解板为了保护钢铁或其零件的使用寿命，一般都采用电解板来将钢铁电镀锌加工处理。电解板由于锌在干燥空气中不易变化，而且可以在潮湿的环境下更能产生一种碱式碳酸锌薄膜，电镀锌这种薄膜就能保护好内部零件而不被腐蚀损坏，即使锌层被某种因素破坏的情况下，锌和钢经过一段时间结合会形成一种微电池，而使钢基体成为阴极而受到保护。
